The spawn should be fixed. I lost count of how many times i spawned surrounded by enemies, and insta died.

Don't worry, mages aren't overpowered if they don't work with other units. But we'll keep rebalancing in any case :)

I was at the docks, almost ending the game (at least i think it was almost over) i save the game and quit for a while, i come back and the mais quest is gone. Is this a bug, or something, if is a just lost a hard badge.
