Why I Like Nobody
Nobody is perfect.
Nobody makes my bed.
Nobody folded my laundry.
Nobody will clear my dirty dishes.
Nobody knows everything.
Nobody knows who left the milk out.
Nobody knows where the comics are.
Nobody knows what to do with all the stuff on the island.
When I ask everybody to come set the table with me, Nobody answers.
Furthermore, Nobody loves emptying the dishwasher.
Sometimes Nobody says anything.
From time to time, Nobody moves. Occasionally, Nobody brings in the groceries.
Nobody has never procrastinated.
Nobody likes getting caught sneaking candy.
Nobody loves slugs.
I usually find Nobody in the attic.
Sometimes, Nobody is in the living room.
But I almost never find Nobody playing on the computer.
Nobody hates playing games.
Nobody’s idea of a fun time is wallowing in a pit of toxic waste.
Nobody has a twin named “No One.”
No One lives across the street.
No One likes Nobody.
But I do.
