Old-fart programmer (almost 40 to you youngins’). Got my start at age 11 (1981) writing a PacMan clone on an Atari 400 with 16k of RAM. I got into every OTHER kind of programming since then, and now have 20 years of Unix/C/C++ and 10 years of Linux/Java/Perl experience in Korporate AmeriKa. Now my kids are playing games on this site, and want to learn how to write Flash games, and am happy to oblige them. So now I have to learn Flash and AS3, which might come in handy at work. I have 2 sons that play here (see friends list below) and one of them is a regular user on here
