Potion refreshes items across the top. Skull removes one item from playing field. Book upgrades one item on playing field.

Really interesting concept. Gets a little aggravating being unable to independently control each line, but understandable why it was programmed that way. Regardless, a fun time waster.
Probably a good thing this is broken, because it smells like it was stolen part and parcel.

As it is, there are too many flaws for it to get better than a "2". The collision detection feels a little weird, the jumping feels choppy at times, and truth be told, the room with the spike tops and the looooong jump corridor is a bit much - sure, they had it in the original Metroid, but tedium sets in much faster these days. However, there is a lot of raw potential here, and could turn into a nifty little game. Keep up the good work Lancewrath!
Thanks, and yea it does need quite a bit of polishing off. There is an unlockable if you can beat the game in under an hour

won't load in either Chrome version 33.0.1750.154 m or Firefox version 28.0 (Funnelcake). It shows the disclaimer, the splash page, and then it goes to a grey screen.

nice, enjoyable, but still a little simplistic. I agree that coin placement is vital to extended playability. Perhaps bonuses for collections, or some such. Totally in agreement with Tommarkc. It's nice to see new implementations of the Unity engine.
Thanks for the feedback. Its my first game on here and getting feedback is great.

"Nintendo Hard"? Seriously? Where's the unlimited spawning, just barely off screen, strategically placed bad guys that will always knock you off your precariously balanced two pixel wide platform that took you fifteen games and three hours to get to? QUIT NERFING THE GAME! Other than that, powerful, POWERFUL nostalgia. 4.5/5

Not sure what's going on, but I keep experiencing severe FPS drops whenever enemies show up. I've even lowered the render rate and video quality to 'fast' but I'll go from 56+ to 3 FPS in the space of a cycle.
