Just keep buying the heroes, thats how I did it I did take quite awhile for it to go down ..the infinite stayed much longer but the mutant count decreased the higher the level of heroes went

Cyrias, you have to purchase the hero tangerines so that the kill rate per second exceeds the spawn rate and it will eventually even itself out the human population will die but that in itself is an achievement and the god thing on the bottom will respawn the humans

How do you do a hard reset to erase achievements and start over? Anyway at all?
