Autumn War

Bad Camera. Its dizzying, pointless, and the only thingit serves is atmosphere, which is a minus when it makes the game a literal headache to play due to staring a shaky screen. Then there's the ill thought out controls (is there a reason to NOT open fire? it isnt explained, nor are most of the other game functions), which leads to the poor documentation. The resolution is tiny. Balance seems off kilter. Random nature of the maps makes victory hit or miss depending on how your vehicles turned out. There isnt much real aspect of commanding. In theory the game could have been better, but execution was piss poor. Pity.

The gameplay as the British is too easy I think. Skip right to readcoats and then to greenjackets, you don't even need cannons. The sheer rate of fire and the fact they have near double the range of the next best infantry means firing lines of them slaughter everything.

Its a fairly boring game. The story is horribly written by someone who obviously has never bothered to ever read a SWAT manual. While the guided bullet part was interesting, they're just... eugh. Just.. poorly done.

The missions are overly mundane and boring. Drop the stupid interrogation parts. They detract from the rest of the game, and don't really add anything to it. It's pretty much a fairly poor imitation of the other stickman sniper games.

The system is... well its interesting, and the shield is unusual enough that it isn't entire mundane. I'm mildly disappointed because it could have been alot better than this, but it isn't too bad either, but nothing I'd play again after the first run-through. Of course, it's still alot better than most of the other games around.

Simple, doesn't take itself seriously, and entertaining for a quick game. The knife sections are annoying though.

I probably would have enjoyed the game more if it didn't try to take itself so seriously. Besides the obvious biology failings, the chick also twitches a whole lot in the opening vid. Accurate long range shooting requires a high degree of muscle control and a proper way of breathing (for extreme cases, even timing things to your cardiovascular system), and a very smooth and clean trigger pull, meaning she would be an inherently horrible shooter. As a game, the setting and story were average, although I will admit they are far more inspired than the average bland shooter. Still, the game story attempting to take itself seriously when anyone familiar with actual shooting would find it laughable make it abit disappointing. =/

Kingdom of The Wind

There's no particular reason to use anything other than a mass of Riders and some turrets. =/ The game's scoring system encourages mass numbers of expendable troops rather than a few high quality ones due to only giving points for creating units, and not penalising you for losing them. Furthermore, the "higher" units aren't worth it, as their superior defense does not make up for their inferior (to the RIDER of all things) offense. That there is a maximum number of units on your end also encourages the use of expendable riders in order to be able to build more as you also lose them faster. The exp bonuses aren't properly balanced per unit, and the game is beatable with only riders and ice turrets, giving no motivation to use anything else. It had potential, but was ultimately quite disappointing.

As a skill, guillotine blade is unbalanced in terms of use. It's all but useless for you or your own troops as your stat-boosting skills generally give them such an advantage that its a forgone conclusion, whereas enemy troops with it will generally kill the player in a single hit, and there is no way to avoid it other than not be targeted in the first place. And of course, the pain in the ass that is facing the Eastern Empire capital champ. The game itself is quite interesting though, although it starts to get repetitive after you take your a capital to get the best troops.

How can people possibly find this hard? O.o It's fairly amusing, though the repetitive music got annoying after awhile, thank goodness for the mute option. It's not exactly an easy start, but most people will probably finish before even managing to buy all the upgrades.
