Idle Raiders: Second Run

Spending almost a week and over 8 million gold trying to reset-farm the 9.1 set piece might be what causes me to give up on the game. Wair grinds AND harsh item drop rates combined are just unnecessary in a single-player game. It oversells grinding and farming as a substitute for game content. If you're newer, be aware that, as I'm told, these mechanics shift starting at t9.

Yup... threw an out of memory error when I left it idling a few hours.

Wow... smaller screen, please. And some options to ease graphic load. There's obviously a leak... eventually, the framerate hops in a handbasket and heads to the Deep South.

I feel like, if a player is actively playing, they should be able to select a target with the mouse and have it be the target for the raid. Additional options would be a key to cycle through currently-spawned monsters (for when there's a mob and they're hard to select manually), and a key to cancel selection and let the raid perform normally. A toggle to focus the raid on the monster with the lowest hp would be nice, too, and a toggle to get them to follow the first warrior when not fighting.

The Red Priestess energy heal upgrade should just add energy heal to their hp heals, or they should prioritize hp over energy. With the upgrade on, it takes forever for warriors to get back in the field because the Reds keep healing their Rage, and they have to regen their hp naturally.

Larger UI graphics, better double-click responsiveness, and better sorting options (like tier-per-page, perhaps) would also be welcome.

Suggestions: Hotkey pages. Being able to hotkey individual character builds (quick-swap, say, tank between ae taunt, taunt, dps, and bloodlust builds, for example) and full-raid builds (quick-swap for, say, going from Zombie to Vampire to Werewolf raids). Market and Traveler need to be a little more robust. Command ability should be an auto-ability for the first Warrior, like how Priests can get auto-Basic Heal, toggle-able of course. Priests need AI upgrades to make better use of various heals; those could be made available at different points to reflect their "learning". It'd require a rebalance, but I feel like equippage should be restricted by item type (one weapon, offhand [shield, arrows, symbol, charm, odd held items], helmet, glove, armor, boot, ring, amulet... there being more than four item types still allows customization choices).

I want to like this game more, but it's oddly REALLY demanding on PC resources (it hangs for a short while as it loads, and slows down flash games in other browser windows) and has a lot of unnecessary layers and unused whitespace. Raids are a prime example... tons of zero-relevance space, and you have to click several things to get into a raid or get prizes ("Begin Show"? Really?) It could all be on one or two screens. If you want a better feel for how your game could be functionally streamlined, try playing it on a laptop with a touchpad. Changes you'd make to make that easier would also generally be welcome by mouse-users.

Anti-Idle: The Game

I'm with LunaticNeko. Been on Kong for almost a decade, played so many other idlers, incrementals, clickers, and time-wasters, but Anti-Idle: The Game is still my favorite out of all of them. It's a unique piece of work. Came back after a couple years gone just to play through again because nothing else compares.

Also needs an auto-idle fight mechanic in Adventures... if you don't do anything in Adventures for, say, a minute, it automatically activates Idle Fight. Been making forays into the next zone fighting manually, and I keep forgetting to re-activate Idle Fight when I back up to heal. Frustrating to come bak and realize no progress has been made.

Needs an inventory overload for special rewards. Spent all afternoon trying to get the pit to give me the one-time reward for a 1B coin toss (sacrificing 1B gold at a time, once per rebirth)... it finally gives it to me, and my inventory is full, so I miss out on the Looty reward AND a Special Bonus 5.

@LazorGameing Fur is for making Parchments, which will be important for much of the game. Ivory isn't much use til you get late-game (several resets) and get into Ziggurat religion, although you can trade it to Nagas (can be found by Explorers in Trade when you have 1500 CURRENT culture, not just culture cap) for minerals. Keep in mind having ANY of each also raises your Happiness by +10, so having some furs and ivory banked can net you +20 Happiness. tl;dr: Hunters and hunting are important, don't neglect them.

I loathe that each new ascension starts on Farm Mode. Just sayin'.

Actually, nevermind. I just had four level 3 investment fails at or under 25% in a row. I'm out of here.

Ad bonus timer needs to reset at midnight, not every 24 hours. Every 24 hours penalizes people who do their ads at odd times (say, on a day off), but having it reset at midnight won't give anyone an unfair advantage.

5/5 Very short, but very funny! I don't regret a moment of it. 2500/2500, thanks to my years diligently looking for things in NES games! :D

Although... it's kind of weird that kittens are willing to live in space; you'd think they would want to AVOID something called a Spay Station...
