Oh, some of the guys are mentioning the Restaurant at the End of the Universe in the comments section. Obviously, it's an allegory of (as the whole game) Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Second book from the trilogy is called Restaurant at the end of the universe. Also, in the novel dolphins are one of the most intelligent species on the Earth (much more intelligent than humans, but still lagging behind the rats. Finally, may I'm misunderstood completely, but I guess it makes sense
