id personally love to see a branching upgrade system like you can choose to go towards shotgun or sniper or the middle ground being smg maybe sheild varients too like tesla sheild. enemys that hit it cause a chain reaction of electricity fire sheild. when hit releases a small ring of fire and energy sheild. bounces whatever hit it back before bursting
