Two thoughts/questions- While I enjoy making aesthetically pleasing layouts, it isn't clear that this improves the $/s. Does travel time/complexity/traffic affect things? Sometimes buildings seem to produce more than their trucks can take out. Other than the numbers not falling to zero, I can not tell if this impacts the efficiency of things and I should not buy another speed boost until production takes long enough again.

Great job on creating an interesting take on the idle genre. So often these games get in a rut of the most efficient choice(I've written a little calc for efficient idle coin boost purchases). This game hides that choice in the layout variety. Should I buy the next upgrade that will improve the $/s or should I buy the cheapest upgrade that allows me to rearrange things and then improve the $/s that way. I assume one could write a tool to optimize this, but by the nature of the layout it would certainly be an interesting creation. RE: a few comments prioritizing achievements vs new resources, This too could be optimized, but there isn't a set rule. In other words it depends. However, going to new resources(even in a partial way) is probably better most of the time because of the huge (10x +) income gains and the additive nature of the achievement bonuses. Just keep an eye out for when you can switch back and quickly pick them up.
