i seem to only get 1.5 gems/min with a level1 gem factory despite haven 6x bonus from the better produciton ascendancy skill. Which is kinda frustrating because gems were the main reason i even put points in there.

the afk mode description says that everything will progress normally but all timers seem to go at about half speed when i have turned it on

That is probably not the case. Is your game in an inactive tab or minimized? Because most browsers slow down the cpu usage on that. If you want full speed, the game needs to be in an active tab.
