As a child, I was abandoned at a very early age by my parents, one a powerful Mage, the other a Cleric. I was found by a pack of wolves, and raised by their leader, Velma. One night, when I was 7 years old, we were attacked by a group of bandits. The pack fought valiantly, and the bandits ran off, but unfortunately not before killing Velma. That night I spent 8 hours sobbing outside the main den. I was about to go inside and cry myself asleep when I saw something shining a few feet away. I picked it up, and it was a curved bone knife with strange, glowing inscriptions. At that moment I vowed to not let my grief for Velma’s death go to waste. I trained hard every day until I was 13, dueling with members from the pack and practicing on dummies made of grass, dirt, and rocks. I soon became very skilled with the knife, and decided to set off on my own. I am now endlessly wandering the plains, watching, waiting for my chance for revenge on those accursed bandits that so mercilessly took Velma’s life. Lately, I have been noticing sudden bursts of energy when fighting foes, and my knife glowing even more brilliantly. My best guess is that the powers I have inherited from my mother and father are finally showing. I now spend my days trying to control this power.
