So I'm doing the skyscraper event. I assumed the bonus tasks were for building past towers to come up short on the skyscraper without them. So did I miss something or do I need to power through all those animal/bee again to complete this.

Aside from fishing the 2 spots on the main island, were can you find mini sharks?

This game trying to be funny.... After the event I had a lot of ill animals so i figure it's just easier to sell and restart. Log back in less then 2 hours later(got to feed to babies) and the game gives me that special random I have revived everything. Got to love that timing lol.

@Iergo For me when on a friends island I can pick/feed any crop/animal, even those already fed or picked by someone else. Once I have picked/fed that crop/animal I can't do it again. This way there is always a way to help and spend the 5 daily tokens even on island with few options.

Also depending on the animal if might be a quest thing.

@HEZYA Picking crops gives spices an ingredient for energy items. So some may be a bit greedy for them especially after a big energy event. As for the animals you may not know, but you can move/swap the same animals in place. So if you have a sick animal you can swap it with 1 of the same type being fed by someone else and revive it without a health pack.

Man that event ate a lot of my saved up energy items. Think I would have rather had the cute corgi in the chimney to the ginger cat tho.

@HEZYA Ty that helps with the last few. Now I'm stuck on clay pots. wiki says crafting and slim chance from treasure island. This is just bad event design to require an item you can basicly only craft and hide it behind a quest lock. If I craft non-stop I should just make it, but then I have to mass spend items for energy to finish

@silver Ty, but I cleaned out desert and volcano already so I guess Im stuck farming thorny bush for the 120+ I need. I still have 40 houses and 24 candles to finish.

I've ran out of nail materials again. Is there a way to gather the thorny twigs I'm missing(like ducks and liana for rope) or is it just the thorn bush and that 1 specific jungle style?

The thorny roses from event is the first time I have seen thorny twig(nails) as an often drop. I don't know if it's worth the 13 wood shop price to farm them, but I think it's at least worth cleaning up the 66 you plant at the end of the event.

How/were can you find the updates info? This new format sucks. From the giant banner at the top to join discord with a bad learn more here link to unclear badge completion I'd rather have the old style with the useless chatrooms back.

What is with all the high energy cost events? I moving along on disco when I finally unlock the jukebox. 170 energy per build with gathering and crafting and they want me to build 5 after the couches and clay sheds simply for a rep boosting ball? Am I missing something here?

Since I skipped the last event I decided to clean up my northern island area only to discover you can't store any of the ancient walkways or walls. So unless I'm willing to sell everything for space it's a waste of resources to fix any of it.

@silver ty. The camel thorns on desert island drop them. Saves me the energy and coin for planting and buying thorn bushes.

I've never purposely farmed for thorny twigs for nails. They just piled up over events and such. Is there any other option besides planting thorn bushes?

spending so much energy trying to get those dam purple fish. It's been like 30-40 energy per.
