Either get rid of the speed upgrade and make the character a reasonable speed, or make the speed upgrade also upgrade attack speed.

Not very original, and the 'shoppe' is next to pointless, but well-made and entertaining otherwise.

This game is rated way too highly. It's slightly amusing, but it's way too reliant on the novelty of it, and in all just doesn't have enough substance to make it worth playing past the first time you beat it (which doesn't take very long.)
