Dear Kongregate CoB players, This weekend the server that hosts the Kongregate server as well as the wiki, test server and some Ghost Trapper items as well went down. It was not just a simple reset nor restart of the server to bring everything back online. Somehow, things were corrupted and we lost everything except for the CoB and GT wikis. We tried endlessly to restart the Kong server and get it running, but it needs way more than that. What does this mean? The data recovery of the backups and the installation and configuration of a new server is unfortunately financially not feasible for us with only a few players still playing on Kong. The server costs have not even been paid by the donations on Kongregate in the last 3 months. Sadly, we have notified them to remove the game from the platform. We are saddened to see this platform go, and tried everything we could for it not to happen. Sad and sorry from everyone at Diviad
