This is a below-average rendition of a way-overdone phone game. Kongregate has to stop these terrible Kongpanion games. The vast majority of recent badges are on these games or Raid Heroes games, which are both not worth playing. Kongregate has to up their game. They are currently bringing nothing to the table that I can't get by picking a random game on Google Play.

This series of games is, in my opinion, uninspired and derivative. All are based around very simple mechanics, often a reskin of currently popular phone apps. It feels like this, as well as the other games (Please Don't Eat me and This is How we Roll) are filler, and there's no heart or passion behind them.

Really fun game! I like the depth of strategy, and this impossible badge is one of the more doable ones IMO. The later gauntlet levels often have enough blight to make you always take at least 3 or so damage, so the shield and lightning upgrades are a must! I also liked upgrading the pawn that starts with both splash upgrades to have everything - when you draw it, you go on the offensive, when you don't, you go defensive, but that's more a greedy choice than anything.

I had 11 deaths after beating lvl. 49. I then died on level 50. Then level 49. Then level 48. Ended with 16 deaths. I lost on the credits...

I'd highly recommend focusing on pure attack. Hidden/ninja's dagger+ a good sword can let you one-shot your way through most of the maps. Stockpile healing potions, and don't be afraid to chug them when you're facing tanky things (turtles, and most of the late game things take 2 hits, so you suffer from attrition). Kill everything you consistently 1-shot for the MP to heal yourself up. I went from level 39 to the end in one fell swoop using this strategy. It's worth sacrificing even 3-4 points of defense for 1 attack at some points.

A useful note is that the lvl. 3 mech mole can take out small rocks, and the lvl. 4 mech mole can take out many large rocks. This is invaluable to get to the depths - Rather than avoiding rocks, just snipe them with the mole.

Really important note is that you don't have to play with just 5 columns. Using L blocks and T blocks, you can create at least 1-2 extra columns on either side. This means that you can create a much shorter tower with the 99. In turn, this means more leeway from a mistake.
