Based on the greek story of orpheus who was a musician and fell in love with a wood nymph who died. He went to the underworld to ask hades to give her back. Hades said that if he played his music while he walked out of the underworld, his love would follow him. Hades also said that if he looked back, his love would be lost forever. Long story short- He looked back :(
