Having played this game for some time now, it became a grind to upgrade anything much further. I noticed that the guild loyalty seems to be a basis of x10 to your current bonus, when I played quite actively to push it it was maybe x15 except initial few loyalties. So if you want to level up without spending too much time it seems best to just log into the game once a day to - use guild loyalty - collect diamonds and daily bonus - upgrade hero abilities and then leave the game until next day. within a month you should be able to boost your guild bonus by e30 (if you always use loyalty on the same guild). I'm yet to clear location 2 and only have one gold card in the third deck, but maybe someone who plays longer can help verify if this holds up on higher levels? In that case I guess this is more a game to log in daily for the above actions and otherwise leave it as is. And every once in a while you try pushing as far as you can just so your loyalty bonus slightly increases :D
