Visually this game is great, I also enjoy the music and sound personally. I do have some issues with the gameplay however, and I do feel that it might be because of programming inexperience. I'm not a great programmer myself, but it seems like the controls as well as the moving platforms (they drag you around on the surface) is a result of not quite figuring out how to fix it. I believe the controls have probably been made to feel precise, much like in the 2d mario games. It does however end up feeling rather sticky instead. too much of a lag between key interaction and character movement. Overall its fun, despite minor annoyances. Now if only it felt as polished as it looks.
