“Who are you? Who am I? Who is anyone? Or better yet… What is anyone? We are nothing. We are all meat in the eyes of that… thing. That savage beast. It is a mindless killing machine that brutally tears apart anything it sees to shreds… and we are it’s prey. The wolves now dominate the world while the humans hide in the shadows. There is virtually no way to kill those things- many have tried, all have failed. I took a shiny silver bullet one night and went outside. There it was, out in the open field, under the full moon. I loaded my rifle and took aim. It suddenly noticed me standing there. It growled and it’s eyes turned a bright glow of red. It charged at me head on- I was sure I was dead. I quickly held up my rifle and shot the beast square between the eyes. Down it fell, like dead dinosaur. It lay there on the ground stone dead. At that point I thought it was all over. But I made one fatal mistake- I forgot the moon was full that night, which meant the wolves would be more powerful than ever. After I left the field, the bright beams from the moon rained down on on the wolf’s dead body. Slowly, its strength started to restore. It eventually picked itself up off the ground, back from the dead. The wolf was never seen again after that night. But until today, every time I see the full moon, it brings me back dreams of my old, immortal enemy…”
