@Ajdude, Idle Mode Off maxes out at 400% while Idle Mode On maxes out at 200%. There's still a drawback.

It's possible to make Idle Mode On faster than Idle Mode Off by keeping Idle Mode Off speed below 200%, but then you still miss out on many things that you can only do when playing actively :P
