For everyone still asking why it won't load: This game has been down for years. Hourblast Games isn't even a studio anymore. For anyone who loved this game: Has anybody found anything like this anywhere else on the web? I'm looking for something that has a.) Online versus multiplayer and b.) the same sort of "simultaneous execution" turn-based combat (aka, both players choose an action and then the turns happen at the same time). Message me if you know of anything like this.

My one and only issue with this game: The +Max Damage hats are extremely underpowered. The best one only adds 3 to the maximum possible damage per hit, which ends up raising that unit's average attack damage by 1.5. Compared to the 20% attack speed boost, and given that late game damage gets into the 50-100 range, this is useless in terms of DPS. I would like to see a % damage multiplier instead.

There needs to be a back or cancel button on screens like "waiting for opponent response" or "waiting for server response"

Please +1 this so developers can find it. In my opinion, you need to earn gold more quickly in this game. I am level 20 currently, and I earn around 50-70 per battle, depending on the free spin bonus. So every 10 energy can get you a little under 1000 gold. In other words, for a higher tier item like the tiger blade for ninja (9000gp), You need to participate in over 90 battles. So for someone who doesn't spend all day playing this game, it can take around 3 days to obtain one simple and seemingly inexpensive item. Add skills into the mix, and you need to fight hundreds of battles just to get a good weapon, armor, and maybe one skill. This needs to be fixed please, it's simply too much to bear with the slow energy system.
