Just a graduate student doing a Ph.D. in World History and playing games. I work on modern France and its colonial empire in North Africa and the Pacific. My work specifically aims at understanding the split during World War II, with a large part of the colonial empire supporting nationalist (later, fascist) Vichy and a small part supporting the republican Free French.

I log on here periodically to kill time playing game and sometimes chatting. My homebase in chat is Devourers of Souls (DoS)—I’ve logged into it from time to time since 2011.
