nevermind, bullets and explosions are toggle-able in options, so firerate and projectile count shouldn't matter for older machines

I'm a little confused with weapon stats: is DPS damage per second, as one would assume, or damage per shot? Is DPS split evenly among all projectiles or per projectile (500 DPS with 5 projectiles meaning 5x100 or 5x500?)? I'm mostly asking because fewer projectiles and worse firerate at identical Damage Per Second would go easier on my old laptop.

Per second, to get damage per projectile you need to divide by fire rate then by projectile count :)

Ice Spray tower (quick -> flamethrower -> ice spray) has no stats, does nothing (range 0) and gains no stats on upgrade.

Suggestion: change armor from absolute values to %. As it is, Cleric and Warrior are useless. Later on, everything but archer's Pierce Armor gets absorbed. Warrior's Fencing is literally "has a chance to deal 0 damage TWICE in a row". Armor % would solve all this while keeping pierce valuable and maybe even making corrosion usable. Changing healing to % might also be a good idea.

Addendum: Notice Me Senpai is definitely broken. Stacked 7 gores in a single turn/fight and it didn't unlock (high damage multipliers can't be displayed btw, x128 just shows as x1). On the plus side, nuking the last boss with a single Big Guy was hilarious.

Some tips: with a bunch of luck on your first turn, you could finish the entire game in a single turn. To achieve this, always choose inspiration and curiosity whenever a quick redraw offers them. Those are added as extra copies to your deck. Use sketching to copy Wanderers, since they're always idea positive (wanderer -1 into curiosity +2 into XYZ), they deal damage and keep the infinite chain going (sketching also adds permanent copies to your deck). Some other combos are always idea positive, but result in dead ends (baking -> apple pie -> muse -> rest = +6 ideas. muse -> rest = +8). Just always save 15 ideas and use quick redraw if you ever run into too many dead ends.

Notice Me Senpai: it seems the 3 gores have to be played not only in the same turn, but also the same battle (turns can last multiple battles). 3 stacked gores (all stacked and pending, not mixed between active and pending) didn't unlock the achievement.

Prices for Holy and Dark banner upgrades persist after resets. Not sure if their effects are similarly permanent.

@ silvadel: you need a specific set of runes to unlock holy/dark merits and runes. Click on help in the lower right corner to see which sets unlock them. Once you got the merit, reset and you'll start with the new runes.

Battlemode: health decreases much faster than shield. When at 1 health and xyz shield, clicking on the heart decreases health to zero (temporarily) but does not end the fight. If we must have 2 health bars with different speed of depletion, a better way to deal targeted damage would be nice.

After closing the game (still undefeated), trying to resume results in a map with 0 health and 0 gold, instead of the wave at which we stopped, meaning resume effectively doesn't work between sessions. Going back to home after clearing a map before closing the game and quitting during a wave both result in the same zero money/health bug next time we play.

It's a little disappointing that improving technologies doesn't really make production of higher tier buildings more efficient, but increases resource cost along with output (from 6 science out of 0.6 paper to 6.66 science out of 0.67 paper, instead of pure increase for same resource input).

It's on purpose, so you have to focus also on earlier buildings in the ressource chain. See it as if the scientists work harder, in order to do so they also need more paperwork.

"cost of wonders reduced in eras 4+" reduced by a factor of 0.5, i.e. doubled :P At least that's what happened to the costs of all buildings and wonders in era 4.

The item Sneaky Dog Locket can't be equipped in any slot. It's the reward for a quest which was supposed to teach you Thievery, which my char (Ninja) had from the beginning. Also, it seems you can't learn Hunting, but you can complete hunting quests, supposedly granting exp to the skill you don't have.

Autobuild and/or faster speedup (x3/x5) would be nice. Also, it's probably a good idea to add a changelog to the update tab, since that's where most players check to see if there's been any improvements/more content.

Do you mean 1 soulbound item when all 4 bosses are defeated or, as i read it, 1 per boss? Because i killed the elephant boss twice and it didn't drop a soulbound item. I made sure autosell was set to 22 (9th reset, so boss is at 23) and i had free slots in inventory. It's quite a grind getting to 23 and beating bosses with 500mil hp, so please don>'t tell me those soulbound items have a low dropchance...

I'd recommend changing "click on sell = sell all" to "shift+click on sell = sell all" to reduce the risk of selling your entire inventory by accident.

As of 1.21 combining two items will give the resulting item halve of the average range. That means combining a ranged weapon with a non-ranged item halves it's range, which is a huge penalty. I'd suggest changing it to base + halve of added item (5 + 2.5 for 2 longbows, 3 + 0 for crossbow + armor, etc)
