To me, the issue is that there is no real endgame. The speed multiplier can't get any lower than .1, so after you have around 40 hero souls, there is no point in collecting more.

Hello Nooze, you have created an awesome game here. I have some questions about attack speed. Is it a hard cap at 30? For example, if I have an attack speed of 30 and then use the "shot speed" skill, do I receive any benefit? Does the excess directly effect damage? Also, I have found that in almost all situations gold rarity "gatling guns" have a much higher dps than any other weapon type at a similar level. I think the way damage increases when speed hits the cap of 30 might be just a little bit too much. If it were lowered slightly it would put gatling guns closer in dps to all other weapons. (This may not apply to early game, I'm talking infinity level 2000+)
