Why is the shrimpboat and hockey team price at 380 40 times more expensive than the oil derrick at 400? it also earns so much less money. Can someone explain?

LoL its hilarious in the alien campaign, after slogging away at a mission for about an hour to accomplish it under overwhelming odds, the cutscene says... we FAILED????????? I _+)*)*@ took the flag 6 times and I killed 10:3 death ratio. Can they at least be a bit more encouraging??
