What are talents, and how do they work? What is the purpose of the shards tree??? I see people talking about crafting, but where is that?

Now when I land on buildings, I only get +1, instead of the +3 I should be getting because of trials.

If the bug squashers earn the 100th ant kill, you don't get the money. Not a big deal on 200, but nearly impossible to get $ after the first 300 or so ants.
