Easily one of the best games I've seen put on this site recently—though I guess that's been a low bar ever since idle gaming became a thing. Plays like a combo of Slay the Spire and Dicey Dungeons. I'm excited to see the full game (though like uberchops, I'll miss the aesthetic of some of the sketchy art—is it possible to keep those resources in the game as an alternative art style/easter egg in some way?)!

The moral of the story is that a good king should have good advisers, guys. I kid, of course. But this was a very thought-provoking game, and that's evidenced by the sheer amount of "the message is..." posts. Great job!

One suggestion that could improve the game a lot would be the simple implementation of a "restart" hotkey.

Well, you can say one thing about the baked goods in my village--they sure have their fair share of iron.

You can't run from death? I have infinite respawns, so probably not the best lesson to impart here.

It would be great if there was an easier way to switch decks.
