Also, lefty is the right hand and Handsome is the left hand. Thumb placement.
Many of the non-defense skills feel very useless other than punch, S. Kamehamehey and gatlin. You should consider adding debuffs to many of them that don't keep up in damage or cheap combo count (for boosting the super meter). Visual buff icons would be nice. Especially for offense and power. Perhaps let you hover over the icons for a description of what they do instead of having to go to instructions. Extra bonus points for comboing both color and number would be a good addition. Level select for completed chapters would be great. I highly suggest only 5 battles per chapter to cut down on tedium. Make exp gain only count when a skill actually does something so you can't spam heal on chapter 1 to max out your skills when your health is already full. Or only give exp for kills, more and more as the enemies get tougher.
3/5 for originality and fun factor. It needs some definite improvements though. Dialogue, for one, which I will be happy to help you with if you like. The instructions are orange on orange which keeps everyone I've introduced it to from caring to read them so I have to tell them what everything in the game does and means. Perhaps some basic in-game tutorial for the first few battles would help. It could be done through the dialogue. "Haha, you'll never beat me because you don't know you can combo both colors AND numbers!" for example. Making some of the background objects clickable would be fun. Letting you scroll the background would also be a nice touch in case you miss what the first fridge says or other things like that. The cat's butt is hanging out both ends of the portal. This may be intentional. There is a bug where the 2nd skill doesn't get a level 2 on day 2. (Poke, armor, fireball, gimme life all never get lvl 2)

Any grind you suffer in this game is purely self-induced, to be honest. It's all a matter of knowing what to go for. Every level can be slaughtered with Core: Lasers, Left and Right arm: Bombs, Tech: Shield Phasing. For the bosses, simply buy a dimensional monkey. They seem expensive, but they pay for themself in every single boss level with change to spare. I'm actually highly disappointed that I beat the game without ever getting enough money for an epic power or the 24k core laser. Every once in a while you might have to repeat a level, but there is no real -grind- at all. If anything, the game is far too easy once you know how to play.

To Freddy: You can kill yourself with the nuke. Drop it, hit it. Do this twice.
