This was pretty fun, but the space section could use a lot of work. The bumper-style obstacles weren't challenging as much as they were just frustrating. Hitting a bunch in a row felt like you got cheesed rather than outplayed. The missiles would have been better to be the main focus of that section. Great touch with the snowman from SkiFree though =)

So here's a fun little bug: If you have no monsters at the ready, and you sell one of your monsters, then click the greyed out "Accept monster" button, it just accepts the last monster that was in the cage, even though you don't have any. You can repeat this to get infinite money.

This is without a doubt one of the worst "games" on Kongregate. I can give other attempts at games passes if I know the developers don't know any better, but you should know better, Christopher. The list of this game's flaws is longer than your list of "features."

decent premise but very poorly implemented. also, spamming chat rooms advertising this is ... pretty low.

This is decent and has potential, but there are a few bad eggs in here. The vehicles are poorly thought-out -- they detract from the level. Instead of being a fun bonus, I end up just looking for barrels to crash into because I know I'm not getting anything out of using them and they aren't that fun to begin with. Walking backwards should walk as fast as walking forwards; otherwise, getting antidotes is much more a hassle than it could -- should -- be. The collision detection is REALLY bad. Being hit from behind or above with no real indication of where the zombie's hit box is is frustrating. Overall, a solid start, but 2/5 at best. Poorly implemented.

Also ... I gave it a shot. I suffered through the lag, beat it, and overall I'm disappointed. It felt like a waste of thirty minutes. The graphics are awful; the last two backgrounds are horribly dark for no real reason at all; the enemies are incredibly easy and dumb; and the game is, overall, way too easy and boring. 90% of the time was spent standing against one wall holding down the shoot button. Empty a clip, jump across the level while you reload; rinse, repeat. Hell, sometimes I ran THROUGH the horde of enemies just to feel some excitement, and they barely scratched me. Exploding enemies like the kamikazes and spiders sometimes exploded and turned into first aid kits! What?! Overall, it was just horribly balanced, repetitive, boring, and doesn't even play right because apparently you can't code. 1/5, just because hell, at least it's *technically* a game.
I don't see how this could possibly be this CPU intensive. Other, more frantic, more complicated games aren't as intensive as this -- this just screams that shoddy code is leaking some resource. I dunno what it is -- maybe collision detection is checking bullets that have already exploded? Or something? I don't know. The longer a level takes, the laggier it gets, until it's unplayable.

If you're going to have challenges like this, the very first thing you need is guns that have 100% accuracy. If I aim at a target, and it's dead in my sights -- exactly center -- and I still miss, that's horrible game design. Challenges should be about skill, not luck.

A couple little things prevent this from being a pretty awesome direct clone of Guitar Hero. 1- Obviously, playtesting it to prevent people from being lagged on other browsers is pretty important in a song like this. 2- Your stepfiles need serious work. There are a lot of songs with gaps in them that shouldn't be there -- 12 days, for example, leading up to the solo; why aren't we playing that? 3- When playing on normal, holding down a button should NOT repeatedly spam it. You need to put in a check for that -- otherwise if you miss a held note, you die IMMEDIATELY, because the game thinks you're spamming that button. That sucks, a lot. 4- Picking up more star power while you're using star power should increase the length of the current star power.

This is fun, but a little too luck-based. In the later levels, you shouldn't even be getting things like waterguns and wooden bats; they royally screw you.

I mean ... it's Progress Quest, only ... less original? There are tons of games like this out there, but at least they make their own content. This is just silly.

This is really great. I'd love to see it on a handheld -- if this were in the app store I'd certainly buy it.

Tons of good about this game -- solid platforming, a GREAT story, a neat little twist at the end, and having music be a game timer is a really great idea. The only problem I have is the music itself -- TERRIBLE choice. I know you can't please anyone, but that song was just awful.
this was really bad. have you played video games much? compare this to others and try and figure out where you went wrong. 1/5, because i can't give it lower.

these aren't even games. they're like really ridiculously bad "choose your own adventure" books, only you get two or three choices and that's it.

are you two being serious? this game is garbage

The bugs in this game are getting REALLY annoying. I've had several games in a row now where some game-crashing bug has occurred, and on three of them, it was just before I won. FIX YOUR SHIT BEFORE UPLOADING.

Some of these screenshots look like fun games I'd like to play ... I wish it'd tell me the ones I missed so I could go play them!

I dunno. On the one hand, it's obvious that a ton of effort went into this, and the sheer amount of content in this is pretty awesome for a flash game. On the other, though ... nostalgia isn't really enough to carry this game for me. The old Final Fantasies and other games of that genre and era were great for their time, but honestly, they don't age well. There's a reason modern games, even modern RPGs, have more action elements in them, are faster, etc., and that's because with modern technology, we can improve on games like that. There's no reason for this to be so ... stale. It's a decent game, but at its core, it might as well be Sprite-Based JRPG #4521.

Several bug reports and a week later and still no fix. This is still unplayable for a lot of people. Kind of sucks.
