I beat this with the starter deck for the 'holy paladin' . . . in your hand keep only the gold mines, 1 or 2 mana producers, about 9 peasant cards ... and the card that makes it all work, Parting Gift (when one of your soldiers die it deals 1 damage to enemy base). throw in a few 'siege engines' to use up the spare gold and you can rock through all the levels

too many instances of my tanks getting knocked over, other than that pretty cool game
