Biography: Yumi’s original name at birth was Makoto Fujimoto. When she was 5, her parents died in a car accident. And when she was 8, the orphanage she lived in burnt to the ground and she was the only child to survive. She was then moved to another one in the next town over where she was adopted from by a married homosexual couple, Ren and Yosuke Mitsuyo. They changed her name to Aiyumi Mitsuyo. They then carefully raised her in all the ways a good child should be raised until she was 18. Then she moved out and left to live in a small apartment where she lives and works as a manga artist.
