Not a bad idea, but there isn't much identity for the player as a quest maker or a guild master. I would call this an idle game, but you have to have the game open for the chests to accumulate money. Its not very gratifying when all you have to do to move forward is keep the game open in a tab and let it 'play' itself for a few hours while you go and do something more interesting and engaging.
