Brawlin' Sailor

I made it through the first part without killing anyone except the bosses. The pirates can't climb stairs!

The game frequently loads me off of the screen so I had to restart the game and then it happened again.

The game was simple and easy to play and personally I'd have loved more upgrades and possibly some upgrade trees. Also why do they have invincibility barrels but they don't use them?

Limited resources, restarting from the beginning ever time and the difficulty curve make it all a bit annoying. And the control scheme diagram is weird.

The end was disappointing. No easy restart, some of the quick time events don't make sense, could use more people to deliver to.

Didn't find out you had to activate classes till I'd had over 10k people die.

There have been a few times when one of the fiends has autokilled me. It is really frustrating.

Simple, addictive (I found myself playing 2 hours after I planned to go to bed) with a fun aesthetic that makes you feel like you actually have to work to earn the upgrades.

Zombie week

The basic mechanics are sound but the whole week idea is undermined by the fact that you can replay days - I played Day 1 about 10 times. I think making the entire thing more of a survival mode with a natural difficulty progression would make more sense.

The game is simple and easy enough but the text ending feels bad - like if we showed a cutscene and then saw the girlfriend transform and had her as a final boss it would be a lot better.

Great idea! Too bad I couldn't think about it in time.

I didn't find the game all that enjoyable unlike the original game where I enjoyed feeling ridiculously powerful from the start. The additional fact that leveling up seems somewhat inconsistent and the fact that you can only level up by completing levels and missions, it means a lot of failure without much reward. Also each race is overly similar offering little difference between campaigns.

The game has a lot of problems - at least give us some sort of experience if we fail a battle. If I spend 20 minutes in a battle I want to get something out of it.

The biggest tip I learned is eat all of the fish you can early on, at least 50 every stage, while building up you ability to go deeper in the water and then surfacing to get birds. Once you have your health all leveled up, leave one boat and then just keep surfacing for air to get the no eating achievements (If you put points in regeneration this also helps). Proceed them to place points into diving and the powerup achievement to earn the badges for staying under water (since if you get the air bubbles it doesn't count as surfacing) whilst getting the rest of the fish. I had done this all by level 6 and ended up getting every achievement before level 30 (though I missed a few waves of bombing submarines so you can get it earlier)

Took too long by going through days too quickly and now I can't finish the game. Stuck at 99%.

It would be nice to make it easier to upgrade quickly like don't autoclose the box every time you need to upgrade.

Didn't realize until three hours in that you can sell materials. Suddenly had +12 minion command and elf armor. Haha.

Cardinal Quest

I like the idea of the game, it reminds me of that mini-quest that came out a few weeks ago. That said the game needs a bit more of a leveling curve, possibly the ability to select which stats to level up (which also helps you pick some spells?) Also I found some errors where if you polymorph an enemy and kill them where they stood, their health bar remains there and it remains each level you go down as well.

A next wave button would be nice as would earning more resources for replaying harder levels.
