What you need to do is tune the acceleration due to gravity to be quite a bit higher, and then obviously increase jump velocity to compensate. The long lag on the drift back down makes precision jumps impossible.

Sub 1 minute would have to be a literally flawless sprint with 0 misclicks, because I just did a full blown sprint at 1:18.
