Man, I can't even find the game to play on here anymore. I knew they were having problems recently (again) but it's strange to find only this thread left but the actual game itself is apparently MIA / removed from site *sighs* I know it's got bugs and stuff that needs to get worked on but there's no game that's similar enought to MD out there as far as I can tell for me to enjoy. Yes, there's _some_ muds that have some crafting system and such but there needs to be more games like MD and either they just don't exist or I just have crappy luck because I haven't been able to find 'em

I don't understand why this silly / stupid little game treats things as if you have him still standing if you decide to sit on toilet and wait. And apparently, I have the bad habit of typing toilet as toliet when I mean to type it out correctly.....nearly every freaking time. What the heck, self?!

Just my luck...hadn't been playing for a while and now lately on the days I've been wanting to play, everything goes to heck. *sigh* Man, I look forward to playing again when it's back up.

For those that don't get it - The character _is_ the "pet". It's a just a bad joke as part of the title...

Sometimes when adventuring and coming across the fairy, the game will state something like "Being a sinful kind of guy, Alex Burns just laughs and goes on." But my "pet protector" (Alex Burns) usually has zero or low sin and always very high compassion , morals, ect. so it's not making any sense to me that he would leave a fairy chained up and be called sinful but is compassionate enough give a lost teddy bear / toy to a child. (I don't know if this is possible bug during regular play but it sure seems like a bug after the game officially ends but lets you play on after the character has already turned 18) I also agree - (and this is a problem in other Princess Maker-like games as well) - that it is really stupid that your sin goes up just for killing enemies. Especially if there's no way to avoid a fight and I'm not talking fleeing. At least in Princess Maker, if your compassion was high enough then most creatures.....(if not all)... stopped being hostile to you.

Unlike some games on here, I don't have issues with the controls. I wish somebody would post the full ending (not just the last level) on youtube. The intro is one of the best intros ever made for a video game and...(for a nice change) good decisions were made when it came who to pick to "voice act" .....sadly so many games, both commercial and indie, have bad "voice acting". This is not the case here. As the game's levels got harder for me I lost interest in playing but it's still a really nice game and I had fun with the easier levels / what I did play was fun for me.

There needs to be a way for members from here able to use the forums....as far as I know there isn't one yet so I honestly don't know how to join the forums and have my say there that I want and since making two accounts is against the rules....I wonder how often people in charge over there and in charge of the game check these comments...and the wiki...

Yes, do train your survival skills early but also your other skillsets of course especially combat, linguistics, and senses since linguistics will help you understand every npc naturally combat will help you be a better fighter and senses are an extra survival skillset just like labouring a small example : senses can help you find hidden items and eventually detect traps labouring will help you become skilled in things that can help you make money if you know both the skill and how to actually go about doing it and / or have the right tool...skinning is the easiest since it's the first one in this particular skin set then you just have to know who to give the hides to ...I don't know where you'd get a saw but the game won't let you log if you don't have something "to log with" good luck!

Yeah, if you're new it's going to be really confusing at first. (because people of course are on at different times due to different time zones and stuff....) despite there being a "newbie" channel nearly every time I've been on nobody was on to help and I lucked out one day but she wasn't on all the time either. And sometimes you'll think somebody is on - they'll be logged in but not really there (sometimes people forget to log off)

No, they're not taking it down. They _was_ the danger of it _maybe_ going down but that's "old" news already, luckily it's been saved.... Just saying so people know...
