Sample strategy > instead of placing Dens or Temples at the start of the map, put Crypts. When at level 3 or higher, crypts makes the ninjas freezing or dancing from the start. It'll help you buy some time to let the smoke bomb disappear. At the late game, you might want to maximize the use of the crypts especially the Fearful crypts. I won map 14 and defeated the last boss without using meteor on him. He just danced on the start of map and froze him to death
here's a tip for easy leveling and to put brilliant on all levels: You just to play on 2 race in your skill chart > Orcs and Undead (for Gold and Mana farming). The following skills are important: Gold Vault, Height Advantage, Cut Down Study, Bounty Hunting, Mana Stock, Mana Pool, Mind Control, Mana Extraction, Lich King, Ice Mastery, and Soul Vault. I recomend playing Orc first, then Undead later. You might want to put on max your Orc skills for easier leveling (it gets you money fast and kills fast). You might want to put some points on Basic Training

Grav. Gun + Impact Mod. = double damage XD
Another tip: Try to keep your team a Ranger w/ Reload and Da Bomb (though not necessary) and a Guardian w/ high levels of defender and threat

Tips: Try to score a perfect day on the first 5 days as much as possible; Use Ragnarok for experience farming; Use MVP drops Mods for easy mod. farming (especially for Boss day).

Survived Ragnarok on day 28 w/ Sheriff @ Lvl. 35. > Ranger = Grav. Gun, Leech, Reloading; Sniper = one hit kill, aimed shot; Duelist = one shot. I managed to score a perfect wave on Ragnarok tnx to my ranger XD
Ranger > Grav. Gun + Leech Mod. = basically kills everything, leeches then puts the party on Rampage

My Team > Sniper (Max. Accuracy); 2 Militia (Big Gunners); Sheriff (Cripple, Accu., Dr. Holiday, Anti-Armor)...Militia for Sweepers (Big Guns and Grenades, LoL), Sniper for Fast Kill, just max out accuracy though, and sheriff for push back and cripple

What's the different colors in the cards are for?
@marandaz111>you don't 'buy' the cards. You gain them by leveling up

A tactic that I use which works for me, and that I like to share: Build up ur army first, letting the enemy come to you in the first phases of the game, then hit the enemy hero with a meteor fall to make it charge at you then order all ur army to attack at the same time the enemy hero charges; when retreating, retreat all ur army and let the zombies stay, this will buy u some time to make ur other army retreat, especially when you have slow moving units like the canon thingy

I like the gore of this game, especially when the revenge wave comes out, and you go bombarding your skills/spells to the enemy wave.
Great game. Better than Epic War 2. Definitely needs badges
