ahhhh....shooting appears to be mapped to Left CTRL (not spacebar) - perhaps update your 'Controls' screen

Movement controls are okay but spacebar (shooting) isn't working?

Lads, as soon the player hits the spacebar it triggers an exception, rendering the game unplayable.
