Anybody know what the magic stat does?

Recommendation for players Grind bosses for exp. To do this, as you kill them and gain the exp, go to your menu and save and quit. The bosses will remain alive as long as you left in the middle of their death animation. I did this with Gordzak, since his boss room is 3 rooms from the entrance, and the enemies on the way allowed me to grind for coins to get the upgraded equipment
