The game's mostly about being lucky enough not to get killed 2 seconds after the enemies spawn. I didn't notice any effect of engine upgrades, and barely any effect of shield upgrades. Also, it needs a "Are you sure?" dialog when you click "Back to main menu" instead of "Continue".
