Mmm... If the window for sending extra troops is opened when you start the attack, you can send the extra troops while the fighting is still going on.

Mmm... I was trying to figure out where my mood changes went, and I've just found that clicking "Talk to Catherine" while you're at war uses up a mood change.

Unfortunate oversight. Will be patched as soon as taiga wakes up. lol
That moment when you accidentally start the attack without sending any extra troops, and you'd like to call it off to regroup and send a proper amount, but then remember that Touria has never lost a battle, let alone retreated, and you slowly, grudgingly press on to save face (and avoid execution)...

You would think that people that play idle games would be more patient than a lot of the comments section would suggest...
You would think that, wouldn't you... =)

Ive read lots of complaints about the devs threatening to abandon the game if it didnt get 5 stars and stay on the front page. I just want to point out that the devs are just 2 people, with their own lives to deal with. They DO care about the players and the game actually being fun, rather than just throwing out random content. Their activity is proof. When they say "If it doesnt stay on the front page, we're going to stop updating the game", I dont believe its a threat, but a poorly worded fact. They arent just trying to make a good game, theyre trying to make a successful game. If the game falls off the front page, the plays fall too, and if nobody plays the game, it isnt successful. My point is they only have time to work on one thing, and if this becomes a sinking ship, theyll have no choice but to move on, or give up on becoming successful writers. Theyre not demanding ratings and holding updates hostage, theyre asking for a chance to continue to add them. Thats what I see anyways
It's very difficult to word that without sounding threatening but trust me, we promised updates and you're getting the exact amount of updates that were promised. We are looking towards the future such as new maps to conquer and what not and that is why we need support so we can keep adding to the game BEYOND the promised updates. But if plays drop too far we'll have to jump ship and start on a new project. It's due to the fact that we don't have unlimited time to work on things. Sorry for the misunderstanding this all has caused. ~Taiga

Low quality seems to help a lot with CPU usage when not focused. I don't notice much of a difference when I AM focused, but there's a little bit less usage. Hopefully Unity will get all their issues sorted out, and we won't have to worry about it anymore.
Well at least that problem's in the bag. People can idle the game and go Youtube or whatever else they do which definitely makes my time worth it. I'll check out a few more things I just thought of and may private message you to see if there was a difference. The issue is that some Unity component we need to make our game work is chewing up resources fast as heck, so I was able to help by optimizing a great deal of my code everywhere I could think of in order to compensate for the component sucking up CPU processing speed. Our game looked like crap before the update, as you can see the update made things look so much more pretty and these components are the reason for it. The low quality settings removed the need for any 3d math to happen anymore which, in-turn, creates lower quality lol. Not sure what else I can do. Now we can only sit back and watch lag comments pile up for days or weeks on end. ~Taiga
*Wonders if the lag was/is being caused by too many ifs testing to see if it should be trying to combat lag or not*

*Never experienced any lag before the update, but now it seems to be a bit more...* Seems to be working better after refreshing the page...
Is it working ok now? I'm working at odds here with Unity's 4.6 web player version. My code and everything has been optimized and should be better on performance yet there's still something going on that I do not know what it is. ~Taiga

I was having a problem running the game (or even loading the page at all), but going to Unity and manually reinstalling the webplayer fixed it.
The fact you had to inconvenience yourself to do that instead of Unity automatically fixing its own stuff for you is pretty bad. This is my first game I built and am not really happy with Unity's platform at least for web player games seeing as inconveniencing our gamers is bad news for developers. I'll continue to do my best to keep all of you guys informed so at least you aren't twiddling your thumbs wondering what's going on. ~Taiga

This game makes me wish there was a way to + developer responses to comments without giving the + to the original comment.
Unity forum says that it should be working again... http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/4-6-b17-20-web-builds-no-longer-working.278152/

"I knew all those dark knights were a bad idea..." - Overheard in the barracks as the first saucers came down
Look at the bright side. By the time it starts working again, we'll all have the money to take the Gray Isles.
*Crash is probably a bad update to Unity Beta*

Perhaps you could add in odd jobs for your troops to do for the people/other countries (as a sign of good faith *wink wink*) for some extra money. (Just throwing out ideas. No pressure. ^_^)

*Wonders if the 1 troop at the beginning is myself, the queen, or just a random expendable bodyguard*
hahaha I was waiting for someone to say something about that ! ~Taiga

I think the achievements aren't adding their multipliers to your buildings until you refresh the game... The multiplier number in the options menu is showing up correctly, but the buildings don't seem to use it until you refresh.

*and the actual cost since you're short on money in the hover-popup...
*Update hits* *Suddenly 100 mil buys 50 cathedrals instead of 5* One comment on the "Buy X" toggles: The cost is for how many you can afford, rather than what is actually toggled, giving the misleading impression that you can afford all of them. I'm not sure what the best way to fix this would be (doing it this way DOES help by telling you how much you will spend when you click...), but off the top of my head, perhaps you could put the full cost of what's toggled on the button, and the actual cost/number being built since you're short on money... (I'm a bit OCD about my building, and like even numbers, otherwise, I don't suppose this is as much of an issue...) Just an observation.
I know what you're saying, however I also feel it's fine the way it is. The tooltip pops up when you mouse over to buy and it shows the total built. When you click you can watch the total built change in real time. I feel anymore time spent on little things like this instead of working towards a major content update such as things to do with conquered countries would not be time well spent. Even if something feels 'small' it can turn into a big process surprisingly.

Ah ah, you just can't. Shiro is insane!
