I've been playing this game almost every day for two weeks and I'm not even close to any of the "medium" badges.

The impossible badge is ridiculously easy compared to something like SCGMD, DJManiax, etc, let alone other impossible badges, which often take several hours, if not dozens. This is easily doable in under an hour, at least with previous experience. It would be easier if there were a setting for higher scroll speed, which would be appreciated. Good idea for a game though.

Thanks for the tip, I should have noticed that, never actually looked at the difficulty switch before. Although now I'm thinking it would be nice if it saved your record and map separately for normal and hard.

You should rename "Normal" to "Easy" since enemies do extremely wasteful moves defending towns that no one has access to, not expanding when they should, and merging units when it doesn't make sense. There's room to make it more satisfying to fight them without having to go to Hard. I still can't get gold medals even on normal yet though, except the first few levels.

After I beat the golem, the giant mushroom got removed as well and I don't think I ever beat it. I had to then die after beating the slime, thankfully that made the mushroom appear so I could complete the game.

How is this game reviewed highly when convenience features are paywalled MMO-style in a totally single-player game? Too much micromanaging for an idle game.

Tips: Save for legendary chest, uncommon isn't worth it. I got one legendary helm for each character, not sure if draws are set or I got lucky. For the final boss, trap him first then shield after he gets loose. Gives you some extra time for the knight to (barely) finish him off. Make sure the fire ability applies, it seems to glitch sometimes. Grind the previous stage for character levels/cash if you need to. I won at character level 45 with only the knight's final weapon.

If you're stuck: the only thing I missed (on easy mode) was the crossbow - I didn't realize you could click on the stairs on the left to go somewhere different.

Here is the trick to momentum loops and beating level 5. It took me a bit to figure out. You have to build up momentum by repeatedly jumping off a high platform, portaling through the low point, and making a portal behind you to go through so that you end up coming out of the high platform again. Then you portal through the low point again and repeat the cycle until you have enough momentum that you can get over the obstacle. You lose momentum whenever you go through a portal.

Okay, you won me over towards the end of the game. It became fun to play with an interesting and novel story and fun characters (some of the time). However, there are still several flaws. Why is there an equipment screen but no equipment? I had a lot of money and nothing to spend it on. Why does text sometimes go off the edge of the screen? Why have you never gotten a copyeditor? And really, what do you have against antidepressants? Also, I'm not going to complain because it was easy to complete the game for the badge, but there was extremely little difficulty. You're given tons of items, healed between almost every cutscene and every mission, and somehow a guy in a suit with a lead pipe is much stronger than gang members, people with superpowers (or guns), and robots. Still, now that I finished it, I want to find out what happens next.

I just got the hard badge and I still don't quite understand what rhythm the fast parts of the wood song were supposed to have. That was the weakest song in my opinion. Still, the rest of the songs were great and the game is very cute. I'm looking forward to a more complete version.

Huh, I didn't know Medieval Cop just used the default assets of whatever you made this with. There goes one thing I thought was decent about it.

I thought I was doing something wrong or the game glitched, but nope, you do actually have to kill 70 gunless enemies with a lead pipe to get to the next room.

Eventually had a very lucky launch and got $10k on day 1, only needed an e-rocket for the last foot to Mars. Thanks to the comments with tips.

Last dozen levels are much easier when you realize the invisible walls don't go all the way up and you can just jump over.

I'm glad I spent a day going through the whole series. It's heartwarming to see how much fun you had making the game and that you're still actively replying to comments. Thoroughly enjoyed the series, keep doing what you do!
