Dangit, I hit #1 the very week the ending happened, so I missed killing the hermit...
Leveling up takes longer and longer after hitting 9999 hp. So long that you get a popup asking you to abort the script. I went to look at something else during one of the pauses, and Firefox basically froze. Now my entire character has been deleted.

When they say add hp/mp in the beginning, they're not kidding. The first enemy of world 3 does a 3-round countdown and then ~4.5k damage. I got to him when I had 1.5k hp. I could try grinding, but the exp curve starts getting pretty harsh, and given the exponential nature of hp growth, the points would have been about 4 times more effective at the beginning.

What's up with everyone claiming light infantry make this game a breeze? Any time the opponent fields even a single tank, your infantry do absolutely squat offensively and then die off in droves.
Splitting stats is a bad move imo. Takes away from class uniqueness when I can just pump my damage stat and not see any other effects from it.

24 rocket modules didn't kill the final boss. 96 lasers killed him before he was fully onscreen.
Shame on whoever deleted my max damage score. Play through 24 times and THEN tell me how much damage I can or can't do.

Equip setup for Pyrohydra and Akron: Matt - Rune Blade, Officer coat, Gas Mask. Nat - Obsidian, Cat Costume, Pope Hat. Lance - Shadow Blaster, Ninja Cloak, Mage Hat. This provides everybody with 100% resistance to Dark and Death, as well as scattered immunity to stun, syphon, and poison. Kill the middle head of the hydra first, followed by the bottom head. The top head will launch Dark-element attacks that do 10k+, but you'll be immune. It will heal a bit if your gas mask is level 5, but you won't die, ever. For Akron, just hit him with what he's weak to. Tera Drill is extremely powerful here. +1 if this helped.
