"A missile strikes your ship for 500 damage. A laser hits your ship for 300 damage." "A bullet strikes the Maydrake officer for 40 damage." Where can I get me one of those?

you know, i'm surprised it took this long for someone to bring this up. the reason for this is simple. frame-rates and lag. rather than each pirate shooting 5-20 missiles at you, i decided to limit things a bit and just pass all the damage into one missile. i realize this is not realistic, and kinda a cop out... but when i had pirates shooting weapons like the player does, the framerate would drop below 30 fps, and i didn't like it.
