Solution - Level 22. Put peg in middle hole, three rows down from top. Use bottom left peg to double jump peg above it and peg you added. The rest should be simple.

Agreed. Get rid of the flashing background and yes, some of the waves only last 7 seconds. Plus, the machine gun is all you need, so why bother having the shotgun as an option?
