I found a possible solution to elevators that freeze up. Build an extra floor above it as over travel space. When the elevators shoot up at their incredible speeds they wont go through the roof. Instead they bounce halfway into the empty floor and back down.

I greatly enjoyed the game. It would be nice that once you have completed the game there is a second version with twice the guards, the boss also has a gun, and perhaps in that case you can kill guards. They might just freak out easier and shoot at noises. Then again it's not my game. Loved it.
