Hi!!! There are some major disadvantages in sending SMS messages. Firstly, there are many children are teenagers who are used to correspond with their friends using the SMS protocol instead of just making a phone call. This causes their monthly bills to be very high. In addition, many children and teenagers sign up to a service that sends them a daily message, for instance, a joke. These daily messages usually cost a lot of money which the subscriber isn’t aware of usually.
By doing the above, the children’s and teenager’s parents are charged for different services that they don’t even use nor aware of.
