It would appear I can't buy buildings. :/ I've got $23821 and I keep trying to buy the Candy Shop, but it won't let me. Have I done something wrong somewhere?

The controls are a bit awkward with the blowtorch in my opinion. It could also do better if the things that are repetitive like the adding of sugar at the end and pretty much any of the steps dealing with all six containers were things you only had to do once or twice before it was automated.
