Switch the positions of red and white bishops in the chess board. Bishops cannot be placed on a square where can be captured.

I don't understand the meaning of 'bishops cannot be placed on a square where it [sic] can be captured'.
Why are Ba1-d4, Bd1-a4, Ba5-d2, and Bd5-a2 all valid first moves, then?
