Game has potential, but it just feels a little 'off'. Controls feel loose, like how the ledges are a little above how high you can jump, though it does push you up onto it. There's a lot of other 'useless' things that are a bit distracting because they're neither used as platforms or as something to interact with, like the payphones or vending machines. However, you have a decent game engine for a platformer that you can improve upon. Hopefully I'll get to see what you've done in an upgraded version.
